Knox basic info

This is the BARE minimum you guys need to know. I will have much more information on them later but I don't want to put it off any longer. I have made you guys wait for a while now, and it didn't really seem fair.

How they are created: A Knox is basically created by an event where a single emotion or characteristic is so strong, that an entity is born from it. Even though the Knox’s personality will mostly reflect these emotions or characteristics, they can still show other emotions as well.
All Knox possess a certain childlike ignorance about them. They are generally curious about everything they see, from animals, to the twigs laying beneath their feet.

Their spirit (flame): The Knox itself Is actually just a spirit, or entity, it has no form, and no gender, but can be seen as a small flame or light that floats above the Knox’s physical forms mask. The Knox that we see is a physical form created by the spirit, which is connected to the spirit by the mask. The flame color (like everything else about the Knox) will reflect the Emotion or Characteristic of the Knox, and can be ANY color, ANY Value, and ANY Shade. This includes White, Grey, and Black. Although they are much more rare.

Masks and their types: A Knox mask will reflect the knox itself. If a Knox’s emotion is Worry, then the knox’s mask will have a worried look. If it is anger it will show anger, if it is fear it will show fear, and so on. The mask itself can my almost any shape, but it must be BASIC and SIMPLE, with smooth curves. A Knox’x mask is most commonly long and narrow, but can be round and fat, flat, or any other simple shapes. Knox’s can also have up to three horns. A more positive Knox will most likely have shorter, simpler horns. Whereas a negative Knox will have longer, more menacing horns.
The markings and “eyes” on a Knox can be most any shapes. Though the “Eye” will never look like it is open, instead it will look closed, or half lidded. The markings will be the same color as their flame, and can move to show expression.
Knox do not have a mouth, but their markings can move and expand to form expressions as a mouth would.

Size and stature: A Knox’s size depends on how strongly the emotion was that created it. The more emotion, the bigger the Knox, the same can be said about its flame. A Knox’s size can range from the size of a 4 week old kitten, to that of a horse. Rarely do they get any larger (Exceptions being Aboms). Knox can vary in stature, it can range from very thin and lithe, to fat and stubby.

Looks: All Knox will have a basic structure. They all look alike in some way or form. Their physical form will have long, thick, fluffy fur which can be soft or course depending on your Knox’s personality. They all have two hairless toes on both the front feet, as well as the back. Their tail will also have no fur at the base, but WILL have thick bushy fur at the end.

The world they live in (Warning: this is my own headworld): Knox live on a very large world, twice the size that earth would be. Humans are not the only sentient species that inhabit it, nor are they the dominant species. This world is still in the dark ages, and uses horses or other creatures of the like for transportation. How they interact with the world: As I have said before, Knox tend to be curious and ignorant. They love to explore, and are not known to stay in one spot for long. These creatures are also very shy, and will generally avoid any kind of human contact. Though there are some that do prefer the company of humans, usually these Knox have a connection to the human(s) they attach themselves to though. Maybe they were created by them, or created by someone close to them. It is not common though, as it draws too much attention, and Knox do not like attention.
